Please let me know about any products damaged during shipping and they will be replaced as soon as possible.
I gladly accept returns for store credit only (no refunds to original payment method). I also accept exchanges if you change brands of doorbells. All my mounts have interchangeable brackets, so if you change doorbell models in the future, the cost to change is minimal.
Refunds on orders not yet processed or started printing will be refunded (less $5 cancellation fee or 5% whichever is greater) to cover payment process fees that are not refunded by Shopify or Paypal). After shipment, we will exchange any item for any reason for the same item, or other item we sell or can 3D print. Returns will be credited with store credit only. If any item does not meet your functional use, aesthetic quality, or fit, the item will gladly be exchanged at our expense. Please provide any pictures showing the issue, and it will be replaced.
I always get a few questions on why I do not provide refunds when a customer changes his mind or if the customer needs a change. Yes, your item is new and unused. BUT...I only sell new items that have not been sold, in other words, I can not sell items that have been subject to prior sale. Amazon/Walmart has set an unreasonable expectation by consumers that everything can be returned, but in reality, a lot of stores are like mine. You can envision my store similar to a service like an electrician or plumber -- try to get a refund from an electrician when you change your mind, after you decide you don't want a doorbell on the wall after he installed it...good luck....Amazon will still take it back (strickly within 30 days), but that electrician will not give your money back. Nor can I get back the time I spent making your product.
I can only guarantee that every item I sell is new if I make the item and sell it. I cannot sell a return and take a chance that something may be wrong with it. I do understand that circumstances change and you may no longer be able to use your item. In this case, I will provide you with additional services equal to the value of your item. I am a mechanical engineer who designs and builds my own products through 3d printing and woodworking. If you can dream up an idea, and it is within the budget of the item you purchased I can make it if it is the value of the item credit you have......and I will ship it to you for free, so you will not be out of pocket for anything else. I do want every customer to come away with an item from my shop that they value, even if it is not a doorbell mount.
An online business such as this has to pay many people/services to keep the business going, and the cost to acquire each customer can be in the range of $5 -$10 each. Then you have the payment processing fees of each customer. You also have the fees that Shopify charges you for each customer, then there are countless other services such as printers, printer supplies, filament, small tools, packaging supplies, postage, screws, accounting services, accounting software, design software, and many other expenses that add in to the cost of every item. None of these fees are refundable if I were to refund a customer. I do give a refund if I did not spend any time processing the order. I run the business to fill a market need, and every dollar that is generated pays for my time to support this business. My items may seem expensive to people for just some plastic, but the cost is not the plastic, the cost is the time I put into making the product. That is the main reason there are no refunds, I cannot refund the time I already spent making the product. I hope this explanation may shed some light on the policies I have towards refunds.
